The Realest Ish Ever........................

If the American Bully is an Amstaff to a Pit Bull what did Dave really do that was so different then what others have been doing since the beginning of the UKC and AKC.  The AKC in 1936 allowed UKC Pit Bulls to register with them until 1938 when they closed the books and changed the names of the dogs that were registered or 2 years to Amstaff; that is why the UKC allows AKC Amstaffs to be registered as Pit Bulls. I can show you in pedigrees that this is documented history, so unless something else was added to the Amstaff/Pit Bull you basically own a Pit Bull. Now I’m not haten this is documented history; I had Jeep and Zebo blood way before we started calling the American Bully the American Bully. In the beginning the dogs were a bullier version, with more mass than the dogs I was use to; but still they functioned like a Pit Bull/Amstaff with a lot less health problems. Now believe me I am a Bully guy and don’t mind the Bull dog traits added in to give the bone and head size and a slight shorter muzzle, my point is if you claim your dog is a Pit Bull /Amstaff cross you basically have what has been here since 1938 and has been being registered in the UKC since then. Now if something was added that’s when a different breed gets started; the Doberman is 11 breeds including the American Pit Bull, Rott, Greyhound, and Shepherd.  I truly love the American bully and have been fighting for it to be nationally recognized as its own breed but an Amstaff x a Pit Bull is not a breed it’s a line. If you don’t believe me check and see if some blood is dual registered as AKC Amstaff and UKC Pit bull. But now, you can register the same dog as an American Bully so more to the point don’t be so nieve the American Bully in the beginning was just a line of UKC American Pit Bulls and AKC Amstaffs. I was there in the beginning and help write the standard for the American Bully from day one, not only once but revised it later and in the making of the American Bully standard we added the traits of the Bull Dog.  People have been hanging papers since the beginning of all the registries. I respect and love all styles from Jeep, Nevada, Larums, Gaff to Gotti, Razors Edge, and from the American Pit Bull Amstaff to the American Bully and Shorty Bull but don’t get it twisted I also love all the Bull Dog breeds from English, Olde, and Mastiff if you’re a real dog person you will truly know what I’m talking about. I will always fight for the registries to only allow Pocket x Pocket, Standard x Standard, and XL x XL to only be registered to get the consistency to one day be nationally recognized as a breed.

The Unknown's...............

I’m Chris Jones and I’m just thinking out loud! I must be what they call a “newbie” or a “nobody” in the dog world because no one seems to read or look at things I post.  No worries or hard feels toward anyone for not knowing the unknown. I love the fact that I’m what I call an “unknown” I have a family around me to keep me doing what I love to do.  The “unknowns” are the ones many have to worry about, not all of them but a rare few of unknown’s. Why do I say that you may ask? It’s simple really the rare few like me are here to take a stand for healthy correct dogs. Yea we have been around for years doing our own thing not caring about what the rest of the world thinks or say’s producing some of the best dogs around.  Dogs that can live for a minimal of 10 years, not dogs that died at 3 or 4 years of age. Dogs that can run in 75 degree weather at 6:30am in the morning then go swimming at 12:00pm in 90 degree weather and then chilling in the shade with daddy in 98 degree weather at 3:00pm.  Dogs that are able to run around the yard for hours with the kids, dogs able to pull a sled filled with wood in the middle of winter, dogs able to help round up cattle if I owned a cattle farm, dogs able to protect assist and pursue in the time of need, simply put dogs able to work. To sum it all up, I along with others who may feel the same way am here to do things the way they ought to be done healthy and correct no matter the size or breed. Seeking out, only the healthy correct athletic dogs and only producing healthy correct dogs with them. Some of these dogs that I see are just crazy to say the least in many breeds. The biggest problem are the ones who breed these dogs then sale these dogs to what you call the “newbie’s” or ‘nobodies” only to have these dogs bred by these people who are only going by your advise getting missed informed information. But I’m only a “newbie” or “nobody” and someone must have made me mad by calling my dog ugly. NAW DON’T GET IT TWISTED!!! That hasn’t happened, and if so they haven’t told me yet! Yeah “King Cain” has rabbit ears, yeah my girl “Aye Bay Bay” left lower eye lid droops a little, yeah “Bones” is a inbred game dog, and yes oh yes “Princess Meesha” is a mixed breed dog we call them “Gwo Doz-chen’s” she has 4 different breeds in her(more on her soon). But it doesn’t matter what anyone thinks or says unless they feel my dogs aren’t healthy or it looks like the dog is in pain or just horrible representations of there breed. If my dog looks like it’s in pain in pictures or in person someone please run up on me a whoop my ass cause I must be on some type of drug hard to have a dog like that. So to end this up let me ask this: 1. Can your dogs work? 2. Withstand the bitter cold or smoldering summer heat? 3. Can it simply live a healthy life of 10 years at least? Like I said I’m Chris Jones and I’m just thinking out loud!

What Is A Producer???????????????

I KEEP HEARING PEOPLE SAY THINGS THAT REALLY DONT MAKE SENSE TO ME....
IF HE DIDNT OUT PRODUCE HIMSELF, HE IS NOT A PRODUCER!!!!! HE IS THROWING A CONSISTENT LOOK.........
HE PRODUCED CHAMPIONS..............
IN MY OPINION A PRODUCER IS A DOG THAT CAN KEEP PRODUCING HIGH QUALITY DOGS. HE DOES NOT HAVE TO MAKE A BETTER DOG THAN HIMSELF. ALSO ANY DOG CAN PRODUCE A CONSISTENT LOOK IF YOU BREED HIM ENOUGH AND POST THE OFFSPRING THAT LOOK LIKE HIM. NEXT IF YOU BREED YOUR DOG 500 TIMES AND HAVE 5 CHAMPIONS, THAT IS NOT A GOOD SUCCESS RATE...THATS JUST BEING REAL......
SOME DOGS WILL MAKE A LOT OF BAD AS DOGS AND NEVER MAKE A DOG BETTER THAN THEM, BECAUSE THEY ARE JUST THAT NICE. WHAT COULD HEFF OR KAMLI HAVE THROWN THAT WAS HANDS DOWN BETTER THAN THEM. THESE WERE SOME OF THE NICEST DOGS EVER. ITS NOT EASY. BUT IF THEY PRODUCE ANYTHING CLOSE THEY DID A GREAT JOB....
WHAT DO YOU THINK??????

A Lil Thinking.......

Okay, ok, okay so I’m going all over the place with this and this is where I’ll start; when “breeders” say back yard, bad or whatever breeders are making it tuff, hard, difficult, or whatever for them to sell dogs”; what is the true reason or reasons for you owning these dogs?
1: 90% of dog breeds, breed in their back yard anyways so many of us are back yard breeders that’s how I look at it. You’re either a good breeder or a bad breeder to me no other way to put it. And yes some breeders stand out amongst the rest because they choose to stay true to themselves and it shows in their dogs. I didn’t say dog I said dogs producing their consistent looks many generations down.
2: Are you in it for the so called fame? If so let me know when you get it cause, I haven’t seen anyone there yet.  I feel there’s what I call the “popular” the “not so popular” and the “unknowns” people in the dog world and like all things in life they all come with the good the bad and the ugly.
3: Are you in it for the money? Many have said “NO” I’m not in it for the money; don’t get me wrong I say it too. Honest from years of hard work and many can tell you that, you’re not going to make any money off a litter. Even puppy mills don’t make money why do you think they have so many dogs tryn to chase the riches making nothing. My goal is to recover what I spent prayerfully for that provisioned litter and again prayerfully recover some of the money that led up to 3-6 months before that litter hit the ground so it can be reinvested into the next generation of dogs. That’s not counting the hours of sleep lost, time off work and so much more.
4: Many say they breed for themselves, right I say this too; so what does that really mean to you? Are you breeding for what you like?  Is it what you like in one pup or in an entire litter?  There is a difference.
5:  Have you been steadfast toward your vision able to make alterations to your vision when needed to insure you are producing the best quality dog off your yard? But a better question is; are you willing to keep a litter good or bad? I say this because oh to often do I see people say these dogs are going for $1200 then this weekend only $800 then today only $400 and last but not least $200 with papers $150 without; really what’s that all about. See it goes back to money I will never drop the extremely low price on a dog that’s value is worth so much more personally from my yard. Dropping the price only tells me it’s about the money with you because you wouldn’t be dropping the price if it wasn’t a money thing sucka. Something new lined up already is what most say, need the space, hahahaha. Yea ok….
Or are you one of those rare few in it because you truly love your breed. Remember what happens in the dark shall one day come to light. Your real intentions will show it-self eventually.

EXOTICS........

MY OPINION ON EXOTIC IS THAT ITS JUST A NEW TERM FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE EITHER TO LAZY TO BREED FOR CONFORMATION AND A HEALTHY DOG. OR JUST A WAY TO BREED ANYTHING YOU CAN TO TRY TO GET A BUCK OUT OF SOMEONE..PERIOD.... IF THEY ARE SO EXOTIC WHY NOT KEEP IT REAL AND STOP HANGING ALL THE PAPERS AND SAYIN THEY ARE OFF OF ALL THESE VERY NICE AMERICAN BULLIES. LOL. WHEN SHORTYBULLS WHERE MADE, PEOPLE KEPT IT REAL AND IT WAS RESPECT, EVEN IF IT WAS NOT LIKED. NOT TO MENTION THEY ACTUALLY TRIED TO MAKE A REAL DOG AND CARED ABOUT THE HEALTH AND CONFORMATION.......

Dogs & Apple Cider Vinegar...............

In my opinion if you own dogs you should have Apple Cider Vinegar in your home it has multiple uses. Itchy skin, the early stages of hot spots, relentless licking of the feet, smelly ears, or even a dog with a poor appetite Apple Cider Vinegar can fix things right up. Apple Cider Vinegar taken internally is known to maintain the acid and alkaline balance of the digestive tract. A dog that has clear watery discharge from the eyes, or a runny nose, or a cough with a liquid sound Apple Cider Vinegar can straighten it out when used twice a day in its food. Many breeders say external parasites like fleas, ticks, flies, ring worm, mange, and some others are more unlikely to inhabit a dog with an acidic system inside and out. Most say use 1 tablespoon for every 50 pounds give or take.
READY HERE COMES THE INFO:
(people use common sense, take your dog to the vet if and when you need to)
How to check your dog's pH balance go to the drug store and pick up some pH strips. First piss of the morning is the perfect time to test your dog's pH. A reading of 6.2 - 6.5 no worries your dog's system is fine; if it reads 7.5 or higher your dogs diet is too alkaline. Adding Apple Cider Vinegar to their food will re-establish the correct pH balance of your dog.
Itchy skin or the early stages of hot spots pour Apple Cider Vinegar into a spray bottle part the hair and spray it on. If the skin is broken dilute the Apple Cider Vinegar 50/50 with purified water. Any skin outbreak should dry up within 24 hours.
Once a week I use a few drops in my dogs ears after cleaning them to avoid ear infections. I’ve also learned from GSD breeders that Apple Cider Vinegar is awesome in fighting yeast infections in the dog’s ear or on their skin.
From the combination of some GSD and Boxer breeders I’ve learned that Apple Cider Vinegar is used in the prevention of muscle weakness, cramps, dogs feeling the effects of the cold, calluses on elbows and hock joints, pimples on the skin, sore joints, arthritis, and pus in the urine.
Many breeders say should you experience external parasites like fleas, ticks, flies, ring worm, or mange bathe your dog with Dawn or green Palmolive and rinse thoroughly, then pour on Apple Cider Vinegar diluted 50/50 with warm water and allow your dog to drip dry. The soapy water drowns the fleas and the Apple Cider Vinegar makes the skin too acidic to re-infest your dog. When you take your dog out to parks or run fields spray your dog before you leave and when you return home with Apple Cider Vinegar.
There are so many uses for Apple Cider Vinegar I've only pointed out a few of the things it can be used for.

What Is Wrong With You!!!!

MY STOMACH TURNS EVERY TIME I SEE A DOG LIKE THIS....
PEOPLE ARE SO STUPID THAT THEY BUY THIS SHIT AND PROMOTE IT. NEVER ASKING THE QUESTION, "I WONDER HOW THE DOG FEELS?"
HOW WOULD YOU DUMB ASSES LIKE TO WALK AROUND ALL DAY WITH YOUR FEET...
TURNED BACKWARDS? OR MAYBE A HUGE DIP IN YOUR BACK? OR MAYBE TRY EATING WITH YOUR JAW BEING OFF BY A INCH OR 2? MAY IT WOULD BE A GREAT FEELING TO WALK AROUND WITH HORRIBLE PAIN IN ALL YOUR JOINTS ALL DAY. BREATHING PROBLEMS AND OTHER ISSUES BECAUSE SOME JACK ASS THOUGHT IT WOULD BE GOOD TO SELL DEFORMED PUPPIES...
THIS IS NOT BULLY ITS BULLSHIT, AND IF YOU HAVE ANY RESPECT FOR THE DOGS AND YOURSELF AT SOMEPOINT YOU WILL SPEAK OUT ABOUT THIS SHIT AND KICK IT OUT OF OUR COMMUNITY.
YOU SAY IT DOES NOT MATTER, BUT IT DID NOT GET POPULAR, UNTIL PEOPLE STOP MAKING IT A BAD THING AND ALLOWED THEM TO SHOW UP AT SHOWS WITH THIS SHIT.
BACK IN THE DAY, YOU MAY HAVE GOTTEN A GOOD ASS WHOOPIN FOR THIS. BUT THEN THE SELF PROCLAIMED PROTECTORS OF THE BREED, DECIDED TO ALLOW EVERYTHING AND EVEN MAKE IT CLASS FOR IT. I GUESS EVERYTHING HAS A PRICE FOR SOME, BUT I PROMISE EVERYONE, ONE THING I WILL NEVER SELL OUT PERIOD.....CORRECT HEALTHY DOGS ARE THE ONLY WAY TO GO..

CrockPot Meal 4 Dogs

Many people would love to feed their dog’s raw food but are afraid to do so because of the safety of them and their young children.  The fear isn’t of the dogs becoming blood thirsty which is a false statement anyway; the fear is of bacteria’s and viruses being left behind after eating or after cleanup.  This was good enough reason for me to get back in the lab and do some research, studying, and testing.
How can I turn my RAW dog meals into safe cooked meals for those who don’t want to feed RAW? Canned food came to mind but hold on; one major thing is missing the BONE. Going with the truth that cooked bones become brittle, splinter, can get lodged in the throat or intestines, cut into the digestive track and so on; how can I make it safe for dogs to consume.  Ha, ha I’ve think I’ve got it! I'll use a CROCK POT it gives me a way to cook everything slowly in their own juices without using a bunch of water. So what would be my base bone and meat?
Ok let’s get right to it using beef with bone took way too long to cook and most of the bone never became soft. I had speed things up, get it finished within 48 hours, 2 days was the goal.
Thinking back on Crock Pot meals my mom made, one jumped out at me “CHICKEN & RICE”. Chicken and rice was simple you place the chicken in a Crock Pot let cook over night on low then adding the rice 30 minutes before eating, being told to watch out for bones while eating. LOL!  I’ve noticed sometimes when I let the chicken cook on high a little too long, when I was taking bone out of the pot that some of the bone ends would crumble up or break very easy.  So thinking like I was making my raw food I should use chicken necks as my base bone and meat; chicken necks have the right meat to bone ratio to me with RAW food so why not use it in my cooked meals as well. I also like to add Fresh Fish to every meal it’s easy to grind up with a meat grinder or hand blender RAW, so cooking them and using a hand blender should be extremely easy.
So here it goes this is what I do: It takes about 36-48 hours to make, most of the time its done in 30 hours. Stir this up every few hours. You will need:
4-5lbs. Chicken Necks
1-2lbs. Chicken Liver
2-3lbs. Chicken Hearts
1 1-2lbs. Fresh Mackerel Whole (guts, scales, head) (Cut into 2-3 inches chunks)
1lb. Carrots (Cut off green tops)
1 Large Fresh Beet (Peel off outer skin)
1lb. Fresh Collard Greens (Cut off ends and chop them up)
1lb. Fresh Kale (Cut off ends and chop them up)
2-3 Sweet Potatoes (Peel off outer skin)
1lb. Celery (Cut off ends)
1lb.  Apples (De-core the apples NO SEEDS)
1-2 Pints of Blueberries
1-2 Bunches of Parsley (Cut off bottom end)
6 Garlic cloves
4 Tablespoons of Fresh Ginger (About a 1 inch by 1 inch size of a piece)
½ cup Apple Cider Vinegar
¼ cup of Rice
1. Place the Chicken Necks in the Crock Pot along with the Apple Cider Vinegar, Garlic, and Ginger. Cut the Crock Pot on HIGH and let this cook for 24 hours.
2. After cooking for 24 hours, add the Mackerel, Carrots, Beets, Collard Greens, Kale, Sweet Potato, and keep this cooking on HIGH for 6-12 hours.
(NOTE) Normally I’m running out of space in my Crock Pot by now so I use a hand blender to break it down.
”CAUTION” your messing with extremely hot food and liquid; also all the chicken bone may not be soft enough to cut yet, normally most of the bone is soft enough to cut with a hand blender.
3. After this has cooked for 30-36 hours, cut the Crock Pot DOWN to LOW and add the Chicken Liver, Chicken Hearts, Celery, Rice, Apples, Blueberries, Parsley, and a ¼ cup of water then cook for another 6-12 hours.
Check it to see if you need to add anymore water. Don’t forget to stir.
 4. When the chicken necks have cooked for a complete 36-48 hours, cut the crock pot off and let it cool.  After it has cooled, I then take a hand held blender and chop it all together then either bag it or feed it to my dogs.
What you have when it’s all said and done is homemade canned dog food better than any commercial canned food best part you know exactly what’s in it, and where it came from.

RKC Workshop II.

Good morning all, what we talked about in the first shop was identity figure out the look you like you and seek it out. Ok so here's the second most important part of starting a kennel; check it.
When you get into this game you’re so excited. You’re on the computer all day, at work, on your vacation at night, man sometime you wake up in the middle of night and go on the computer.
Now that is called "THE BUG", yep you got "THE BUG".
Pros and cons.
Pros that means you’re starting to be committed.
Cons is that now you are prey for all of the breeders already in the game.
Here is what happens.
You’re on the net, and you find a kennel or dog you like you call that guy and he tells you his whole story and you like what he is saying so you go and spend thousands of dollars, with the hope of taking over the world. You get your dog and you’re happy, you think he is the one.
Now you keep surfing the net and you find another kennel and you like their dogs so you buy, and so on and so on.
Now you have a couple of dogs, from all type of shapes and color. A yard full of nothing because you followed the hype and each kennels dream.
So that's called learning the hard way because you didn't know better, but you spent thousands of dollars. So you say well I'm going to breed them to make my money back, which is the worst thing you can do because you are producing stuff without constancy.
Rule #1 make your cuts and take your losses, don't breed to make back your loss because when you do that your identity in the game is shot and all you have is your word and identity.
Here is an example.
Many guys come to Remy and see him and they see what I've done. Now that is the Dream, they say hmmmm I'm going to buy a Remy pup one or two, breed them and make money like Fabe. Now that is possible, but what they didn't realize is; it's the work you have to put into the dogs, such as Marketing, going to shows, and the key truly love your dogs.
Your dogs are going to give you what you give them, so many times guys females don't take, or they lose a litter or whatever. That is karma trust me on that. Remember they are creatures with soul what you put in you will get out. Love is the key, not just feed and keep them in a crate or kennel. Trust me your dogs will do more for you than you know if you truly love them. Ok talk to ya tomorrow 1.Identy 2.Stay on your dream not another man’s stick with what look made you say dam, and be true to it. Don't follow the hype unless it is the truth......
By. Fabe

RKC Workshop

I will give my insight on how to build your kennel; these are tips that were usefully to me. Now this is just my opinion on starting a kennel. The first thing one has to do is find out the look of dog they like, whether it is big, small, or medium. Too many yards have a rainbow of dogs, which tells me they don't have an identity. If you like medium size dogs then only have medium size dogs. The reason for that is when a consumer wants to buy a dog he will go to a yard that is consistent with the look they are preaching.
Here is an example.
If you want to have Remyline as your main bloodline, find the look in the bloodline and which kennel is consistently producing that look. That way you can have stock that is consistent of your ideal dog. Find out your look and stay true to your identity, which is the key. Have a good day we are going to make this board more than a board we are going to make it a true community. RKC is a community and a life style. To know something is to teach something, and that is what we are going to do in the RKC community. I will share my ideas and views throughout the week.

Carrots- Contains vitamin A, B, C, D, E, G, K, potassium, calcium. I use carrots as the base and add a few others to vary the juice daily.
Celery- Contains organic sodium helps maintains fluidity of the blood and lymph’s. It also is helpful for arthritis, water retention, urinary problems, and chemical imbalances.
Yellow and Green Squash
Beets- Contains copper, manganese, potassium. It builds red corpuscles as well as tones the blood. Add once a week due to beet's having cleansing properties.

Collard Greens- Contains vitamin A, C, potassium, chlorophyll
Kale- has the same nutrients as cabbage, helps with digestive disorders
Zucchini- high in water as well as potassium, manganese, and antioxidants like vitamin A and C
Sweet Potato- high in fiber and packed with vitamins A, B5, B6,
Pumpkin- Good for a few things, diarrhea, constipation and weight loss. I give my dogs 1-4 tablespoons when they have cannon butt, 4-6 tablespoons when they are constipated, and 8 tablespoons with every meal when underweight.  Pumpkin is also a great source of fiber.
Watercress- Contains vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B17, C, D, E, K, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, iron, sodium, magnesium, copper, manganese, fluorine, sulphur, chlorine, iodine, germanium, silica, zinc, and also its a intestinal cleanser

Parsley- Is full of chlorophyll, and helps fight bad breath. Best thing about it all parts of the plant can be used seed, leaves, stems, and roots. An herb helps with oxygen metabolism with the adrenal and thyroid glands, healing for the genito-urianry tract.
Ginger-The most popular uses for ginger have been, and continue to be, stomach-related issues like motion sickness and nausea; also it’s used for inflammation and arthritis problems.
Flax Seed or Oil-
Alfalfa Sprouts- One of the highest sources of Vitamin A.
Cayenne-
Echinacea-

Garlic- Garlic contains about 30 compounds that have been found to be useful for a variety of conditions from skin disorders to cancer; holistic veterinarians recommend garlic because of its multiple health benefits. Garlic stimulates immune functions in the bloodstream by increasing the activities of killer cells. These cells seek out and destroy invading microbes and cancer cells. Dogs with suppressed immune systems or ones fighting cancer can profit from having fresh garlic added to their diet. Healthy dogs can also boost their immune system and fight to prevent cancer from consuming fresh garlic. This powerful antimicrobial and antibiotic is effective in fighting various forms of internal or external bacterial, viral, or fungal infection, including parasites and protozoan organisms. Garlic contains at least six compounds that can enhance liver function by helping the liver eliminate toxins from the body. The exact reason and extent of garlic's effeteness in preventing fleas and ticks isn’t all that clear. It may be the odor released through the dog's skin as the garlic is metabolized. Whatever the reason, there’s a lot of reports on the effectiveness of garlic as a flea and tick repellent. When using fresh garlic use this table to help you feed them an appropriate amount. 5-15 pounds- ½ clove; 20-40 pounds- 1 clove; 45-65 pounds- 1 ½ cloves; 70-95 pounds- 2 cloves; 100 pounds and over 3 cloves. Use this guide and feed your dogs every other day and taking a week long break every 5 weeks.
Lemon Balm- a calming herb that sooths and relaxes your dog, it’s a digestive add that helps with canine gas, helps with muscle relaxation for working dogs after a hard day of work, it also is a canine deodorizer, it has disinfecting properties, it also has insect-repelling benefits; 1 teaspoon for every 15 pounds, so 1 tablespoon for a 50 pound dog
Apples- Vitamin A
Cranberries-
Pineapples-
Seedless Watermelon-
Blue Berries-
Raspberries-

A List of Meat, Bones, & Organ..........

Raw Meaty Bones (RMB)
Raw Meaty Bones are the core of a Natural diet and this must have the correct meat to bone ratio to insure optimal health (VERY IMPORTANT).
RMB iteams should be fed to your dog every day.  RMBs as a meal can be fed to your dog ground or given whole, but in order for your dog to get the full benefits of the RMB it should be fed whole.  Meats can be fed freely but don’t over look the other proteins like (organ meats).  Heart is considered to be an Organ and a Meat.  I often ground or chop the organ meats and added them to a puree of veggie/fruits mix.
Meats & RMBs & Organs
Whole Eggs (with shell hard boiled)
Beef, Buffalo, Deer, Goat, Lamb, RMBs (no dense weight-bearing bones)
Neck Bones
Tails
Feet
Beef, Buffalo, Deer, Goat, Lamb Organs
Heart
Liver
Kidney
Spleen
Sweetbread
Lung
Green Tripe
Beef, Buffalo, Deer, Goat, Lamb, Meats
Heart
Tongue
Ground Beef
Chicken, Duck, Turkey, Quail RMBs
Necks
Backs
Wings
Feet
Chicken, Duck, Turkey, Quail Organs
Hearts
Liver
Gizzards
Chicken, Duck, Turkey, Quail Meats
Breast
Legs
Thighs
Hearts
Although these iteams have bone in them I feel that it is not the right amount of Meat to Bone to be called a Raw Meaty Bone so I place them in the Meat category.
Whole fish including the Bones, Guts, Heads, and Scales
Sardines
Smelt
Anchovies
Shad
Mackerel
Canned fish is used sparingly; salmon, sardines, and mackerel packed in water or vegetables oil is what I tend to stick with when I use canned fish this is also added to the veggie mixes.
I avoid fresh Salmon! WHY?  Salmon poisoning, this is a potentially fatal condition seen in dogs that eat Raw Fresh Salmon. You see Salmon swim upstream to breed and this is when the Salmon can become infected with a parasite called nanophyetus salmincola.  Nanophyetus Salmincola is generally harmless, but the danger occurs when the parasite itself is infected with another organism called neorickettsia helminthoeca. It’s this microorganism that causes salmon poisoning and all the problems. Typical signs are:
Vomiting
Lack of appetite
Fever
Diarrhea
Weakness
Swollen lymph nodes
Dehydration

Raw Food

BARF, RAW, or NATURAL DIET, how ever you want to call it, we must start by agreeing and understanding that all dogs are different and so are their activity levels and feeding requirements.  For years I fed a great quality commercial dog food, until it was discontinued, but I always added a little fresh meat with bone, or pieces of fruit to my dog’s bowls as treats. While being faced with having to find a new feed, I decided to do research and talk to breeders who fed a Natural diet only, then I decided to give it a try. What I noticed right away was the dog odors disappeared. Then it was the undeniable change in the quality of their coats, mental and muscle development, and overall health and stability of my dogs.

When I started feeding my dogs a Raw diet, I was told that a good and easy rule of thumb is to feed (1) pound of RAW food for every (50) pounds of the dog’s Body Weight, for at least 2 weeks, while keeping an eye on the dogs to see if an increase or decrease in quantity is needed, to fit each individuals needs.

I feel that a dog’s diet should be 30%-50% Muscle Meats, 30%-50% Raw Meaty Bones (RMB), 10%-20% Organs, and 5%-10% vegetables, fruit, herbs, and eggs. Now you're saying hold up, why so big of a percentage range; the simple answer is there is not one formula that is perfect for every dog, things need to be tweaked to fit each individual dog. When it comes to the use of GRAINS, I only use what my dogs can handle, because it’s a fact that many dogs are allergic to grains the most common being Wheat, Corn, and Soy.
