Dogs & Apple Cider Vinegar...............

In my opinion if you own dogs you should have Apple Cider Vinegar in your home it has multiple uses. Itchy skin, the early stages of hot spots, relentless licking of the feet, smelly ears, or even a dog with a poor appetite Apple Cider Vinegar can fix things right up. Apple Cider Vinegar taken internally is known to maintain the acid and alkaline balance of the digestive tract. A dog that has clear watery discharge from the eyes, or a runny nose, or a cough with a liquid sound Apple Cider Vinegar can straighten it out when used twice a day in its food. Many breeders say external parasites like fleas, ticks, flies, ring worm, mange, and some others are more unlikely to inhabit a dog with an acidic system inside and out. Most say use 1 tablespoon for every 50 pounds give or take.

How to check your dog's pH balance go to the drug store and pick up some pH strips. First piss of the morning is the perfect time to test your dog's pH. A reading of 6.2 - 6.5 no worries your dog's system is fine; if it reads 7.5 or higher your dogs diet is too alkaline. Adding Apple Cider Vinegar to their food will re-establish the correct pH balance of your dog.

Itchy skin or the early stages of hot spots pour Apple Cider Vinegar into a spray bottle part the hair and spray it on. If the skin is broken dilute the Apple Cider Vinegar 50/50 with purified water. Any skin outbreak should dry up within 24 hours.

Once a week I use a few drops in my dogs ears after cleaning them to avoid ear infections. I’ve also learned from GSD breeders that Apple Cider Vinegar is awesome in fighting yeast infections in the dog’s ear or on their skin.

From the combination of some GSD and Boxer breeders I’ve learned that Apple Cider Vinegar is used in the prevention of muscle weakness, cramps, dogs feeling the effects of the cold, calluses on elbows and hock joints, pimples on the skin, sore joints, arthritis, and pus in the urine.

Many breeders say should you experience external parasites like fleas, ticks, flies, ring worm, or mange bathe your dog with Dawn or green Palmolive and rinse thoroughly, then pour on Apple Cider Vinegar diluted 50/50 with warm water and allow your dog to drip dry. The soapy water drowns the fleas and the Apple Cider Vinegar makes the skin too acidic to re-infest your dog. When you take your dog out to parks or run fields spray your dog before you leave and when you return home with Apple Cider Vinegar.

There are so many uses for Apple Cider Vinegar I've only pointed out a few of the things it can be used for.

When 2 Strat Training.......

I’ll say training starts as soon as you receive your new pup.  The first thing I say to my new pup is “go potty” most likely I just picked up the new addition to my yard.  Better to use the bathroom outside then in the car and crate I’ll say.  After that it’s pretty simple: “come or let’s go”, if the pup comes great, if not simply go and pick the pup up and proceed to your car or on your way.  I open the car and crate doors then say “crate or cage” then the pup is placed inside and the door is closed.  Already my new pup has begun to learn 3 new phrases: “GO POTTY” “COME or LET’S GO” “CRATE OR CAGE”. Lol!!!

Dogs learn by repetition the more something is done or said the easier it becomes for the dog to understand what you want.  I run threw everything every day, focusing more on one thing or the other on certain days mixing the days throughout the weeks to make sure they have it. Bad behaviors can be corrected by understanding the needs of that individual dog; what’s missing?  It’s always ok to go to a reputable trainer when needed.  For the first time dog owner I recommend you and your pup take basic obedience classes, some of you second, third, fourth, and fifth dog owners need to take some classes as well. Dogs are able to learn a wide verity of words so invest into your dog by just spending quality one on one hands on time; you will be amazed at what you and your dog will learn.

Let’s set it straight, you can only get a Gwo Doz-chen from one place, and that’s NoVACAIN Kennels.  All breedings of this breed have been done by me Christopher W. Jones to date except the very first breeding; these dogs are still a work in progress.  At first I wanted to combine my top 4 favorite breeds the Boxer, the German Shepherd Dog, the American Pit Bull Terrier, and the Belgian Malinois; then POW a 5^th breed grabbed my attention the American Bully.  I’ve chosen a name for this breed so early for the simple fact I needed something to call these dogs other than mutts; they’re more than mutts they’re forming a breed I’m following a vision that I’ve had for years.  The name I’ve chose was “Gwo Doz-chen” which stands for “overdose dog” in Haitian Creole. I’m on my 5th generation of breedings just to get to my foundation breeding that will take place with my girl Princess Meesha. This is just the beginning, 80% of the pups out of these litters have and will be spayed or neutered then given away or sold as pets; only dogs that fit the standard I set will be sold as breeding quality and only to close friends and true fanciers of the breed at this time……………….

If I would have been 5min late walking in my house from work, we would have lost "Aye Bay Bay" today. Somehow she got to the lamp cord that was plugged into the wall in her cage; and bit down on it (cage is set 2 feet from the wall). I walk in my house and herd her screaming and already knew what it had to be, had a dog that did the same thing 2 times before back in 1999. That’s one sound you will never forget, I cut the power to the house and ran to her praying for the best. Thank you God for keeping an eye on this lil pup and helping me think quickly. No need to worry she is alright just a few minor burns to her lips, nothing major and the vet said she was all good. Although I knew she was good because she ran out the pin at me and did her happy dance, I still felt the need to take her in ASAP. She ran into the vet’s office and everything but this lil one has a special place on this yard so I wanted to be extra safe.
