- Adhesive tape (1"width) -- bandaging
- Sterile dressing pads (4") can be substitute sanitary napkins -- covering wounds
- Cling gauze -- holding the pad on a wound
- Gauze sponges (2") -- covering clean wounds
- Thermometer -- measuring body temp
- Scissors -- cutting bandage material
- Antibiotic cream or ointment -- topical treatment of minor wounds
- Antiseptic soap/solution -- cleaning wounds
- Pepto-Bismol -- upset stomach dose 1/2ml to 1ml per1lbs. of body weight 3x daily
- Eye wash (sterile saline) -- washing eyes
- Plastic Elizabethan collar -- prevent dog from licking wounds, irritated skin, rubbing sore eyes or ears
- Blanket or towel -- to keep dog warm or for carrying them (hammock style)
- Rope leash -- for restraint, and can be used as a muzzle
